Winter Masala Chi
1 bag English breakfast tea 1
15 mL whole cardamom 1 tbsp
2 large cinnamon sticks 2
3 mL whole cloves ½ tsp
2 star anise 2
2 mL ground ginger ¼ tsp
1. Fill a medium teapot with boiling water.
2. Add tea bag and spices, let steep, covered for approximately 5 minutes.
3. Remove tea bag only and let steep another 10 minutes.
4. Strain spices through a tea strainer into tea cups. Serve with cream or milk and sugar.
